Marjorie "Anne" Murray

Marjorie Anne (Martin) Murray, 85, lovingly known as “Anne” of Rindge, NH passed away on Friday, February 3, 2023, in the comfort of her home.

She was born in Mapleville, Rhode Island on April 24, 1937, daughter of the late Walter and Louise (Landry) Martin. After high school, Anne earned a bachelor's degree in Nursing from St. Joseph College while she spent several years in the convent.  

Anne married Donald Murray in 1973, where they spent 47 years together before his passing in 2020. Together they enjoyed traveling, fishing, golfing, and The Arts. Anne was an established artist in her own right and enjoyed mostly painting in oils. She also spent much of her time tending to and working in her large garden.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved husband of 47years Donald W. Murray, and her sister Jean Plante.

Anne is survived by her niece, Lisa Eckhardt and her husband William of Litchfield, NH, her nephew Normand Plante of Rhode Island, her stepchildren; Val Murray and his wife Gretchen of Missoula, MO, Daren Murray and his wife Jackie of Colorado Springs, CO, and Kim Hibbs and her husband Jason of La Junta, CO, as well as many relatives and friends.

Per the request of family, there will be no calling hours or services.
