Mark D. Holombo

September 15, 1962 — October 27, 2021

Mark Douglas Holombo, 59, of New Ipswich NH went home to be with his Lord on October 27, 2021, surrounded by the ones he loved best, after a long health battle. He was a strong warrior and a man of faith. Mark was born in Hancock, MI on September 15, 1962 to Douglas and Rhoda Holombo. He was a graduate of Mascenic High School in New Ipswich, NH.

Mark met the love of his life, Teri, and married her in 1982 at her parents’ (Butch and Cindy Cooper) home in Rindge NH. They were married 39 years. Mark was a family man and welcomed his sons-in-law and daughters-in-law as though they were his own. Mark’s legacy of love and encouragement lives on in his children and grandchildren as well as his many spiritual children.

Mark started Kustom Construction and raised his two sons to know the concrete trade. He was known and respected as a talented concrete finisher. Mark’s real business was in service to his King, Jesus, witnessing of God’s love and goodness to everyone on the job sites. He also served as an elder of Hope Fellowship Church in Jaffrey, NH.

Mark loved to learn, loved to golf and hike, and loved any activity with friends. He loved to laugh and tease. He was known for his funny quotes and one-liners. Whenever Mark told a story, you knew it was a good one if he couldn’t get it started without being overcome with laughter. His strengths were listening and connecting with people. In every conversation, Mark found a way to intentionally encourage you and pour out love. He loved the Word of God and His people. His passion was sharing the gospel so that every person would know that they simply needed to accept Jesus as their Savior in order to go to heaven.

Mark is survived by his wife Teri, his 5 daughters and 2 sons. Dawn with Rodney Seppala and their children Brackan, Cruz and Shaye. Heather with Dane Sauvola and their children Alec, Charlize, Liam and Rhys. Sasha with Cale Sikkila and their children Zaden, Azaria, Zienna and Akzel. Amber with Ethan Ketola and their children Ellis, Hayes and Truett. Chelsea with Travis Olson. Kyle Holombo with Brianna and their children Cora, Kobe and Kit. Chase Holombo with Daria and their son Kodah. His sisters Lynn White (with Dwayne of New Ipswich), Gwenn Coponen (with Bill of New Ipswich) and Judy Ketola (with Jeremiah of Rindge). His brothers Luke (with Marci of Greer, South Carolina), Gregg (with Lois of New Ipswich), Dean (with Heidi of Greer, South Carolina), Henry (of New Ipswich). He also leaves behind his dearly loved brothers and sisters in law, his mother-in-law, Cindy, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
