Mary Asselta

Mary Asselta, 90, formerly of the Bronx NY died peacefully Sunday August 2, 2009 at the Monadnock Community Hospital in Peterborough NH.

She was born July 15, 1919 in the Hanover section of Nanticoke PA. daughter of the late Michael and Anna Rose (Krupa) Gluhanich.

For more than 62 years she lived on East Mosholu Parkway North in Bronx NY
Mary was a nice, kind, considerate and well liked woman.

She was married to Daniel Asselta, he died June 22, 2004.

Surviving family members include her nieces and nephews Joseph, Helene, Barbara Ann, Rose Ann and James.

Encryptment in the Shrine of Memories Mausoleum, at Ferncliff Cemetery, Hartsdale NY will be at 1:00PM on Friday.

Family and friends are warmly invited to call at the Cournoyer Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 33 River Street, Jaffrey NH on Wednesday from 6:00 to 9:00PM

A Requiem Funeral Mass will be offered Thursday at 11:00AM at St. Benedict Center, Fay Martin Road, in Richmond NH. Rev. Fr. Thomas Carleton will officiate.
