Mary L. White

Mary L. White, 88, lifelong resident of Peterborough, NH died on Thursday, March 2, 2017 after a period of declining health at the Pheasant Wood Center in Peterborough.

She was born on March 12, 1928 in Peterborough, daughter of the late William and Ethel (Foote) Scott.

Mary was raised and educated in Peterborough and graduated from the then Peterborough High School Class of 1946.

She married Warren E. White and together they shared many loving years together until his passing in September of 2013.

Mary worked for many years as a cook at both Monadnock Daycare and the then Dublin Boys School in Dublin. When not serving meals to the school children, she was a devoted homemaker to her loving family.

She performed as an organist for Sunday church services and various events for several local churches over the years. Mary was also known for teaching piano lessons.

Survivors include her loving children; Jacqueline Weeks of Peterborough, Stephen and Donna White of Iven, Utah, Roberta Allen of Jaffrey and David and Evon White also of Peterborough. Mary was also blessed with ten grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren who she loved dearly.

Services: In accordance with Mary’s wishes services will be private for her family and cremation has taken place.
