Megan E. Burrows, 27, of Jaffrey, NH died at the Monadnock Community Hospital in Peterborough on March 30, 2009 after a lengthy illness.

Born in Peterborough on August 27, 1981, Megan lived her whole life in Jaffrey. She was the daughter of Thomas and Rachel (Labbe) Burrows.

She graduated from Conant High School in 1999 and had attended the College of New Rochelle, in New Rochelle, NY, majoring in Business Administration and she had also studied Psychology.

Megan had worked at Atlas Fireworks in the retail outlet stores throughout the area for many years.

Megan was a devoted aunt and she also loved her pets. She could often be found spending time on her computer or watching movies with family and friends.

Megan is survived by her parents of Jaffrey, her nephew Thomas J. Covey of Greenfield, NH and several aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. She was preceded in death by her sister Josephine Mae Covey on August 30, 2000.

The family welcomes flowers and asks that any memorial contributions be made to an animal shelter of your choice.

Burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Bennington, NHat the familys convenience.

Family and friends are warmly invited to calling hours which will be held on Friday, April 3, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Cournoyer Funeral Home Cremation Center, 33 River Street (Route 202) Jaffrey.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 4, 2009 at 10:00 AM at Saint Patrick Church, 89 Main Street in Jaffrey. Rev. Wilfred Deschamps, Pastor, will be the celebrant.
