Michael P. Sandor, Sr.

Michael “Mehi” P. Sandor Sr., 86, of Fitzwilliam, NH, passed away on May 1, 2023, at the Cheshire Medical Center in Keene, NH.

He was born on July 1, 1936, in South Norwalk, CT, to the late Josef and Anna Sandor. Michael grew up in South Norwalk, CT and lived there for 42 years, before relocating to Keene NH where he lived for 22 years.  Ultimately, he met his longtime partner, Carole Krunklevich, with whom he lived in Fitzwilliam, NH for 22 years up until his passing.

In his free time, Michael was an avid golfer and enjoyed time outdoors gardening. 

In addition to both of his parents, Michael was predeceased by two brothers, Joseph Sandor, and John Sandor, as well as two sisters Anna (Sandor) Puskas and Mary (Sandor) Scott.

Michael will be forever remembered by: his longtime partner, Carole Krunklevich, his two sons, Mark Sandor of Columbia, SC, and Michael Sandor of Clarkston, MI, six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and many friends.

Family and friends are warmly invited to attend calling hours on May 22, 2023, from 5:00PM – 7:00PM at  Cournoyer Funeral Home, 33 River Street Jaffrey, NH 03452. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on May 23, 2023, at 11:00AM in St. Patrick Church, 89 Main Street Jaffrey, NH 03452.

Burial will follow immediately after Mass in Pine Grove Cemetery, Fitzwilliam NH.
