Muriel D. Pelletier, 89 of Antrim, NH, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2013 at the Pheasantwood Care and Rehabilitation Center in Peterborough, NH.
She was born on May 28, 1924 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, daughter of Thomas A. Pelletier and Susie (Whitney) Rokes. Muriel was raised in Antrim and she was a graduate of Antrim High School. She had worked in several different capacities at the Maplehurst Inn in Antrim throughout her entire working career.
Muriel had a love for her many cats through the years and had an extensive collection of artificial flower arrangements. She will be remembered for her thoughtful and caring ways.
Muriel was a devoted daughter, sister and aunt. She will be greatly missed by her half- sister Jacqueline Duval of Jaffrey and her step-sister Nina Harding of Antrim, as well as by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
At the family’s request, there will be no calling hours.
Family and friends are invited to honor and celebrate Muriel’s life by gathering for a Graveside Service in the Maplewood Cemetery on Route 202 in Antrim, NH on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at 2:00 PM. Rev. David Forry of Jaffrey will officiate.
