Myrna L. Cardillo, 61, of Jaffrey, died Friday, October 26, 2012 at the Pheasantwood Care and Rehabilitation Center in Peterborough after a courageous battle with cancer. Myrna was born on September 15, 1951 in Pocatello, Idaho, daughter of the late Bernard and Christine (Fitch) Chase. She had attended Sweet Home High School in Oregon and had lived there before moving with her family to Brocton, MA and later to Jaffrey, NH. Since moving to Jaffrey, Myrna had worked as a machine operator at Johnson Abrasives until she retired last year due to her illness. Until only recently, Myrna was able to stay at home where she was able to continue to enjoy what she loved most in her life, spending time with her family and friends, as well as knitting and gardening. She was preceded in death by two of her sons; Kevin Peterson on August 26, 1988 and Robert Daggett Jr. on October 17, 1999. She is survived by her daughter Christine Cardillo of Jaffrey; her two sons, Ronald Chase and Timothy Cardillo, both of Brocton, MA; 6 grandchildren; her sisters, Connie Robinson, Donna Brown, Roberta Berman, Doris Pace and Theresa Buller; her brothers, Gene Chase, Larry Chase, and Jerry Chase; her constant friend and former husband, John Cardillo and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday November 2, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick Church, 89 Main Street, Jaffrey. Rev. Wilfred H. Deschamps, Pastor, will be the celebrant. Burial will follow beside her sons, at Saint Patrick Cemetery, Jaffrey, NH.
