Nancy J. Swensen

Nancy J. Swensen, 75, resident of Wilton, NH died Tuesday, August 4, 2015 surrounded by her loving family in the Community Hospice House, Merrimack, NH.

Nancy was born on March 10, 1940 in Jersey City, NJ a daughter of the late Charles “CB” and Josephine Swensen.

She attended the Dwight School for girls, graduating in 1958 and later attended and graduated from the Vermont College for Women in 1960.

Nancy moved around throughout her life and lived many wonderful locations including many years in New Jersey, Amherst, NH, Peterborough, NH and most recently Wilton, NH.

She was a loving and devote mother to her children and worked many years as a dedicated homemaker for her family.

Nancy’s many hobbies included sewing, art/drawing and animals. Her most enjoyable time was spent with her grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents, and her brother Charles Swensen.

Survivors include; One daughter, Nancy Brown; Three sons; Ben Brown and Wife Shera of Brookline, Peter Brown and wife Amanda of Milford, NH, Stuart English and wife Melanie of Milford, NH. Two grandchildren; Shelby Brown and Haven Brown.

At Nancy’s request there will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at 10:00am at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peterborough.

Burial will be in the Pine Hill Cemetery Peterborough, NH
