NAOMI RUTH ADAMS RIVERS HOLT, 81 of Alder Court ,Jaffrey died Saturday June 9, 2007 at the Good Shepherd Health Care Center in Jaffrey following a courageous battle with lung cancer.

She was born February 12, 1926 in Indianapolis, Indiana daughter of the late Linley Leroy and Anna (Reel) Adams.

She attended schools in Jonesboro, Indiana.

Mrs. Holt has been a resident of Jaffrey for the past twenty-two years and had previously lived in Ft.Wayne, Indiana and Lordsburg, New Mexico.

She was a former employee at the RCA plant in Marion, Indiana.

For several years Mrs. Holt was employed with the National Grange Insurance Company in Keene,NH and she had also worked at Norm'™s Thriftway in Jaffrey. While living in New Mexico, she and her late husband owned and operated a roadside Trading Post.

She enjoyed reading.

She was a very kind and loving person who cherished time spent with family and friends as evidenced by the many pictures which adorned her apartment walls. She will be missed by her many friends and neighbors through out this community and especially at the Village at Jaffrey.

Naomi accepted Jesus Christ as her savior and the family takes comfort knowing she is in Heaven with Him.

Her husband of 15years, Theodore Holt died in 1985.

Survivors include her two daughters Jeannie and her husband Ara St. John of Sweetser, Indiana; Rebecca and her husband Robert Pelkey of Jaffrey; her son and his wife John and Renay Rivers of Huntington, Indiana; her sister Janet Wright of Gas City, Indiana; her nine grandchildren Travis, Vanessa and Jillian Pelkey allof Jaffrey, Romi Plath of Urbana Indiana, Shawn St. John of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Kevin Rivers, Kimberly Moore and Jennifer Moore all of Hamilton, Ohio, and Jane Rivers of Monroe Ohio; fourteen great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call Tuesday June 12, 2007 from 4:00 to 5:00 PM at the Cournoyer Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 33 River Street. Jaffrey.

Funeral services will follow in the funeral home chapel at 5:00PM. Burial in Conant Cemetery will be private and at the convenience of the family.
