Nathan was an amazing father, husband, son, brother, and friend. He was compassionate, talented, sensitive, and wise. He was humorous and intelligent. He was tender-hearted and charitable. His tenderness towards his family and pets best describes his heart.
He left his broken body on June 5th, 2020 at Lahey Clinic in Burlington, Massachusetts after a battle with organ failure.
Nathan William Salter was born in Peterborough, NH on March 2, 1976, the town that he grew up in, loved and incidentally also where he met his wife and married.
Nathan loved his sons and wife most of all as well as his animal friends. He loved God and music and was a talented musician and artist. Nathan loved quiet, but he also loved to laugh. When he did it was contagious and uplifting, as was his tenderness and heart of service.
Nathan is survived by his wife Rebekah (Mills) Salter, and four sons Isaiah, Elijah, Immanuel and Caleb Salter, all of Rindge, NH; his mother Gabrielle (Osmun) Salter of Greenfield, NH and brothers Matthew Salter and Stephen Salter, as well as many in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. He leaves two cats whom he loved so completely.
We will miss his kindness, his laughter, his sense of humor and how deeply he showed his love. Hallelujah, Nathan! You are home!
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Nathan’s name to Good Neighbor Fund, PO Box 486 Jaffrey NH 03452.
