Nina ‘Bean’ Colasanto, 19, died on January 19, 2019 from injuries she received in an automobile accident on her birthday.
Nina was born on December 26, 1999 in Nashua, New Hampshire, the only daughter of Michael Colasanto and Christina (Mazur) Bassett. She had graduated with the Class of 2018 from Mascenic High School in New Ipswich in June and was enjoying being a baker at Flour Haven in Greer, SC. Nina had also enjoyed being a barista at Short Stop in New Ipswich and at Parker House in Peterborough.
Nina will always be remembered as being an amazing young woman, filled with love and compassion for all. She was filled with infectious joy was naturally a beautiful soul that brought people closer to their faith with ease. Nina wasn’t shy and could walk into a room full of strangers and walk out smiling and with new friends. She lived simply and without fear, enjoying hiking, roller coasters and jumping into rivers from bridges high above.
Nina is survived by her mother and step-father, Christina and Joseph Bassett of New Ipswich, NH; her father and step-mother, Michael and Holly Colasanto of Chester, NH; her brothers, Nicholas Colasanto of New Ipswich, Charles Bassett of Haverhill, MA and Jonathan Barberio of Chester, NH; her maternal grandmother, Jean Mazur of New Ipswich, and her 2 nieces, Kennedy and Shayla, as well as countless close friends.

Visiting hours for Nina will be held at Hope Fellowship Church, 16 Prescott Road, Jaffrey, NH on Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 12:00 noon until 3:00 pm. Funeral Services will immediately follow the visitation in the church. Rev. Jordan Moody will officiate and her burial will take place in the spring.
