Nina F. Spiller, 63, of New Ipswich, and formerly of Berwyn, Illinois, passed away peacefully, yet unexpectedly on November 23, 2020 after a long struggle with Epilepsy.
She was born in Dayton, Ohio on August 3, 1957, daughter of the late Verlin and Margaret (Cooper) Smith and had graduated from Morton West High School in Berwyn, IL in 1975.
Nina had always enjoyed working with the public and enjoyed a variety of jobs, from managing service stations, to teaching Sunday School at her church in Xenia. Once she became a mom, family became her entire life. She loved her children and grandchildren and enjoyed spending her days together with them, listening to music, or playing and hiking around in the warm sunshine outside. Of course, an occasional trip to the beach or shopping also made Nina smile.
In addition to Nina’s parents, her husband Duane Spiller, and her brother Robert Smith, also died earlier.
She is survived by her beloved children; Michael Sandoval of Rockford, IL, Daniel Spiller of Urbana, IL, and Emilee Spiller of New Ipswich, NH with whom she lived. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Nevaeh Spiller, Olivia Spiller, Elijah Spiller, Michael Sandoval and Anthony Sandoval; her brothers, Kenneth Smith and James Smith, both of Berwyn, IL; a niece, Paige Bonner, a nephew, Bobby Smith, and many close friends.
Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Monday, November 30, 2020 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Cournoyer Funeral Home, 33 River Street, (US Rte. 202) Jaffrey, NH 03452.
Attendees are respectfully reminded that social distancing will be observed, and face masks required.
