Patrick J. Kelly, 21, of Amherst, and formerly of Keene and Peterborough, died on Wednesday, April 18, 2007 as a result of injuries he received in an automobile accident.

Patrick was born on July 3, 1985 in Keene, NH, son of Kevin and Nicolee (Croteau) Kelly. He was a 2004 graduate of ConVal Regional High School in Peterborough.

While attending high school, Patrick had worked as an intern with the Cournoyer Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Jaffrey. After returning from his service in the United States Navy, Patrick continued to work for several funeral homes in Manchester and Nashua. More recently, Patrick was working in sales throughout southern New Hampshire and Massachusetts.

Patrick was very athletic. He had been very competitive during high school in wrestling, basketball, baseball and football, and had enjoyed karate when he was younger.

Patrick was very caring and compassionate. His most cherished times were those spent with his family and friends and was always there for anyone in need. Patrick had a personality that easily won over anyone'™s heart. His sense of humor and love of stories will always be remembered fondly.

Patrick is survived by his mother Nicolee Croteau of North Swanzey, NH; his father Kevin and Step-Mother Brenda Kelly of Cambridge, Mass.; his sister Khyra Kelly of North Swanzey, NH; his brother Kaeghan Kelly of Cambridge, Mass.; his Maternal Grandparents, Dr. John and Suzanne Croteau of Bedford, NH; his Paternal Grandparents, Richard and Corinne Kelly of Keene, NH; his beloved niece Kalaiyah Kelly and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and close friends.

Family and friends are warmly invited to calling hours on Tuesday, April 24, 2007 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cournoyer Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 33 River Street, (Route 202) Jaffrey.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 28 Arch Street, Keene. Pastor James Berry will officiate at the service.
