Pauline M. Pitman, 79, of Zephyrhills, FL, and formerly of Jaffrey, died peacefully on March 8, 2018, at the Southern Pines Healthcare Center in New Port Richey, FL, after a period of declining health.
‘Polly’ was born, on June 25, 1938, in Jaffrey, daughter of the late Emile J. and Rose M. (St. Pierre) Ouellette. She was a longtime resident of Jaffrey and was a 1958 graduate of Conant High School.
Pauline had worked at Aubuchon Hardware and at Belletete’s in Jaffrey before retiring and volunteering at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Jaffrey and at the Monadnock Community Hospital in Peterborough before moving to Florida.
She was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed travelling.
Pauline is survived by her son Greg; her daughter Sue; her granddaughter Holli and her great grandson Liam; her sister Jeanine (Ginger) Smith, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
At Pauline’s request, there will be no calling hours.
A Graveside Service will be held, on Monday, May 21, 2018, at 4:00pm, at her family lot in Saint Patrick Cemetery. Rev. Wilfred Deschamps, Pastor of Saint Patrick Parish will be the celebrant.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations may be made in Pauline’s name to the St Patrick’s Outreach Community, 87 Main St., Jaffrey, NH 03452-6139.
