Pearl Leonore Driscoll

Pearl Leonore Driscoll, age 96, died peacefully on February 14, 2013 at Pheasant Wood Nursing Home in Peterborough, NH. Pearl was born December 6, 1916, in Oil City, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Charlotta and Silas Parsons. In 1946, Pearl married the love of her life Edward P. Driscoll. They lived in Erie together for 54 years until his death in February 26, 2000. Pearl was a member of the Lawrence Park Garden Club, Historical Society, and a very active member in the United Methodist church. In addition to raising her three children, she devoted years as a nanny to many families. Her favorite pastimes included spending time with family and friends, singing, crosswords, and bird watching. She was extremely passionate about gardening. Pearl is survived by her sister Charlotte Davies, Oil City, PA, her children, Charlotte Hosack of Erie, PA, Nancy and James Burrows of Jaffrey, NH, and Edward and Anne Driscoll of Sewell, NJ, 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, 3 nieces, and many close friends.

There will be a service held at Lawrence Park United Methodist Church on Feb 19, 2013. Viewing will be from 9AM-11AM followed by a service and then burial in Lakeside Cemetery immediately following.
