Peggy Williams, 86 of Peterborough died after a long and courageous struggle with lymphoma on March 16, 2007.
She was born on August 19, 1920 in Buffalo, New York in 1920 and attended Barnard College and Boston College.
Peggy was a lover of music, art, nature, and poetry, and was a formidable scrabble player.
She is survived by five children: Margherite Williams, Roger Williams, Nancy Harris, Kathleen Williams, and Sheila Williams; four grandchildren: Elizabeth and Jacob Rosenberg and Gillian and Margot Harris; and three great grand children: Jamie, Elisia, and Erika Rosenberg.
Family and friends are warmly invited to calling hours on Wednesday, March 21, 2007 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Cournoyer Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 33 River Street (Route 202 South) Jaffrey.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, immediately following calling hours at 11:00 AM in the chapel at the Funeral Home. Rev. Cynthia E. Bagley will officiate. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery on Sand Hill Road in Peterborough
