Raymond Wilfred Pelletier

After a brief illness Raymond Wilfred Pelletier, 91, of Greenville, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully at his home, on June 30th, surrounded by his family.

Raymond was born on June 8, 1933, in Saint-Pamphile, Québec, Canada, to the late Albert Pelletier and Camille Berube, he was the 9th child out of 10.

While living in Canada, Raymond worked as a lumberjack. However, in November of 1964, Raymond made the life altering decision to move from Canada to Greenville, New Hampshire. He worked at the Warwick Mills for many years before transferring to Vanguard Manufacturing where he retired from in 2010, at the age of 78.

After his long-deserved retirement, Raymond continued to indulge in handyman type projects, such as woodworking and lawncare. He was an avid reader as well, spending many days and nights drawn to a good book. Raymond also had the distinct honor of being a Third Degree Knight of Columbus to the Greenville Council 8016.

In addition to both of his parents, Raymond is predeceased by his five sisters, Berthe, Jeanne d’Arc, Lucienne, Marie-Hélène, Jeanine, and his four brothers, Olivier, Laurant, Elzéar, and Leonard.

Raymond is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Isabelle Deschênes Pelletier. He is also remembered as the loving father to his son, Nelson, and daughter, Dorine, both of Greenville, New Hampshire. A sister-in-law Juliette Anctil Pelletier, of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Along with many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday July 12, 2024, at 10:00 AM in Sacred Heart Church at 19 High Street in Greenville, NH 03048. Rev. Wilfred H. Deschamps will officiate.

Burial will take place immediately following at Pleasant St Cemetery in Greenville, NH.
