Richard C. Dupre

Richard C. Dupre, 92, of Rindge, NH, passed away peacefully at the Monadnock Community Hospital in Peterborough after a period of failing health on November 18, 2023.

Richard was a 60 year resident of Bellingham, MA and was the son of the late Omer and Anastasia (Cibulski) Dupre. He enjoyed a career as an insurance salesman for Prudential Insurance Co.

In 1950, Richard married the love of his life, Jean Brunelli. They raised six children and spent many wonderful years together in a loving home.

Richard hand-built two of his family homes, loved to travel, spend time with his family, golf, make jigsaw puzzles, and was an avid Scrabble player. 

Richard is survived by his wife of 73 years, Jean of Rindge; daughters, Paula Dupre-Davis (Jeffrey) of Rindge, NH, Pattie Ferland (Arthur) of Daytona Beach, FL, Karen Wante (Henri) of Littleton, NH;  sons, Michael Dupre (Sue) of Navarre, FL, and Steven Dupre (Jeannette) of Supply, NC. Richard is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.

Richard is predeceased by his parents, son John (Jack) Dupre, brother Robert Dupre, and son-in-law Jeffrey Davis.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, December 4, 2023, at 11:00 in the Hilltop House at the Cathedral of the Pines, 10 Hale Hill Road, Rindge, NH 03461.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Richard’s memory to The Jaffrey Firefighters Company, 138 Turnpike Rd, Jaffrey, NH 03452.
