Robert A. Gravel

Robert “Bobby” A. Gravel, 63, longtime resident of Rindge, N.H. died Friday, April 6, 2012 at the Monadnock Community Hospital in Peterborough, NH after a period of failing health. He was born on November 6, 1948 in Winchendon, Massachusetts, son of the late George A. and Evelyn G. (Johnson) Gravel. Mr. Gravel enjoyed fishing, painting and watching wrestling. He was happiest spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Linda (Dufour) Gravel of Rindge NH; his 2 daughters, Cecelia and her husband John Binari of Haverhill MA, and Laura and husband Al Viveiros of Newton NH; his 2 sons, Shawn Goodell and Shayne Broyer, both of Newton NH; his 9 grandchildren, Brittany, Jacob, Travis, Thomas-Nicholas, Colby, Alex, AJ, Giovanni, and Jeremy; his sister Mary Grant of Winooski, VT; his 2 brothers, Donald and Richard Gravel of Fitzwilliam, NH, along with several Nieces and Nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers George, Harold, and Albert Gravel and one sister, Ruth Dunham.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to The Good Neighbor Fund, Post Office Box 486, Jaffrey NH 03452-0486.

As per the family’s request, there will be no calling hours.
