ROBERT L. LAFAVE, 68 of Templeton Turnpike, Fitzwilliam died Monday May 7, 2007 at the Cheshire Medical Center in Keene following a brief illness.
He was born November 27, 1938 in Altona, New York son of the late Albert and Jennie (Cusson) Lafave.
He attended schools in New York and had served with the United States Army during the 1950'™s.
Mr. Lafave retired from W.W. Cross Co. in Jaffrey following twenty-seven years of employment.
He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years Patricia (Garrand) Lafave of Fitzwilliam; a son Scott Lafave of Fitzwilliam; two granddaughters April Lafave of Swanzey and Lisa Lafave of Jaffrey; three sisters Lucille Chandler of Rindge, Ethel Bushey of Lyon Mtn., New York, Theresa Spears of Altona, NY; a brother Ronald Lafave of Ellenburg, NY; many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are warmly invited to call at the Cournoyer Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 33 River Street in Jaffrey on Thursday from 1:00 to 3:00. Funeral services will follow at 3:00PM in the funeral home chapel. Rev Wilfred H. Deschamps, pastor of St. Patrick Church will officiate. Burial will be in the family lot in St. Patrick Cemetery, Jaffrey.
