Ruth J. Antinelle

New Ipswich, NH Ruth J. Antinelle, 89, of Beechwood Road in New Ipswich, died peacefully on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at the Good Shepherd Healthcare Center in Jaffrey after a period of failing health. She was born on May 21, 1922 in Franklin, NH, daughter of the late Clarence and Isadora (Tilton) Woodard. Ruth had graduated from Franklin High School with the class of 1940. She has been a resident of New Ipswich for the past four years and had previously lived in Greenville for thirty one years. Mrs. Antinelle had been employed at Pioneer Plastics in Greenville for over twenty two years. She retired in 1984. Mrs. Antinelle was a member of the New Ipswich Congregational Church and had enjoyed embroidery, cross-stitching, word puzzles and travelling. For as long as her health allowed, she stayed very active with her friends in the Mascenic Senior Citizens. During quieter moments, she would often be found playing a good old-fashioned game of solitaire. Mrs. Antinelle was preceded in death by her sons Melvin and Daniel, and by her daughter Jeannie. Her brother Richard Woodard also died earlier. She is survived by her four sons, Thomas and his wife Cori of New Ipswich, with whom she had lived, John J. Antinelle of Mathis, TX, Gerald D. Antinelle and Paul F. Antinelle, both of Greenville, NH; her two daughters Rita M. Antinelle of Worcester, MA and Judy N. Nourse of Templeton, MA; 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren; her sister Gladys Burrell of Williamstown, VT and many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. Committal Services will be private and at the convenience of the family at the Franklin Cemetery in Franklin, NH.
