Ruth M. Cramb

Ruth M. Cramb, died October 9, 2009, at Good Shepherd Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Jaffrey after a period of failing health.

She was born August 13, 1940 in Wilmington, VT, the daughter of Christopher and Rachel (Perkins) Rathburn. She was a 1959 graduate of Naragansett High School in Templeton, MA.

Ruth had worked for many years at New Hampshire Ball Bearing in Peterborough. She later worked at Millipore in Jaffrey and eventually retired after working at NEBS in Groton, MA.

Ruth dedicated her life to her family. She took great pride in her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting and crafts of all kinds. She especially loved to make all sorts of crafty things for and with her beloved grandchildren.. She was a longtime member of the Fitzwilliam Sportsmans Club.

She was preceded in death by her sister Myrtle Rathburn Whisted in 1983, and by her brother Warren Rathburn in 2007.

Ruth is survived by her husband Donald Cramb, Sr.of Rindge, NH her daughters Julie Pillsbury and Sandra Rathburn, both of Jaffrey, NH; her sons Christopher Cramb of Winchendon, MA, Timothy Cramb of Cheyanne, Wyoming, and Donald Cramb, Jr.of Jaffrey, NH; 22 Grandchildren, 1 Great-Grandson; her brothers Carl Rathburn of Keene, NH and Donald Rathburn of Baldwinville, MA and several nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

At Ruths request there will be no calling hours or services at this time.
A Graveside Service will be held at a later date in Hillside Cemetery in Rindge and will be announced.
