Sandra 'Sandy' Taylor

August 23, 1938 — July 2, 2018

Sandra M. (Sandy) Taylor, 79, a lifelong resident of Jaffrey, NH, died peacefully after a period of declining health on July 2, 2018 at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Jaffrey.

She was born on August 23, 1938, in Peterborough, NH, a daughter of the late J. Frederick and Irene (Gibson) Forcier.

Sandy married her high school sweetheart, Donald Cloutier, Sr. at a young age and began her family. She worked at D.D. Bean & Sons for 30 years before working at Teleflex, also in Jaffrey, for another 30 years. During this time, after only 22 years of marriage, Donald passed away and she later married Ronald L. Taylor, whom she would be married for over 28 years. Both of her husbands enjoyed cooking and later in life Sandy enjoyed helping Ron with his restaurant, ‘Ron & Sandy’s’ on Main Street in Jaffrey.

Sandy was a hard worker, but also enjoyed time together with her family, as well as singing, painting and playing BINGO. She was member of the Jaffrey American Legion Post #11 Auxiliary and the Jaffrey VFW Memorial Post #5613 Auxiliary, something that made her very happy.

In addition to her parents, Sandy was predeceased by both of her husbands, her brother, ‘Rick’ Forcier, and her step-sister, Carol Chamberlain.

She is survived by her daughter, Darlene "Susie" Black of Jaffrey; her son, Donald "Punky" Cloutier Jr. of Muncie, IN; her two step-daughters, Kathy Taylor-Hartwell of Jaffrey, and Suzy Hunter of McCammon, Idaho; her two step-sons, Bryan Taylor and Louis Taylor, both of McCammon, Idaho; eight grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends including her dear friends, Carmen and Ed VanBlarcom of Jaffrey.

In accordance with the wishes of Sandy, she was cremated and there will be no public services held. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of her family.
