Sophia Loreen Filipi

Sophia Loreen Filipi is the beloved baby daughter of Michelle (Colby) and Patrick Filipi. Sophias arrival was joyfully anticipated by Michelle and Patrick, as well as a very large and loving extended family. Her passing, though unexpected, is peacefully and lovingly mourned and by Sophias Mommy and Daddy and the entire Colby and Filipi Family.

Sofia was met by her cousin Zita and Aunt Lori. The trio stands together watching, guiding and praying for those who were left here with broken hearts and tear stained faces.

Along with her parents, Sophia leaves her grandparents, Hank and Maureen Colby and Arnold and Theresa Filipi; Godparents Aunt Sarah and Uncle Nicolas VanLandeghem, and Uncle Joe and Aunt Susan Filipi; Aunts and Uncles, Matthew Colby, Steve and Christy Filipi, Elias and Rachelle Filipi, Becky and Derick Baab, Ramona and Pablo Acosta, Mary and Jonathan Germain, Heidi and Paul Schmitt, Majella Filipi and many, many cousins.

In tribute to sweet Sophia, Michelle and Patrick request that all parents take time to love and embrace their children, both born and unborn, in recognition of the precious gifts they are and the honor it is to hold them, if only for just a short while.

A Mass was held for Sophia at St. Patrick Church in Jaffrey on Monday, July 20th.
The family would like to lovingly thank Rev. Wilfred Deschamps, the amazing caring staff at Monadnock Community Hospitals Birthing Center and Dr. Pamela Stetzer from Monadnock OB GYN. They would also like to thank Sawyer Family and everyone at Silver Ranch for helping provide the beautiful horse and carriage ride to the cemetery.
