Varvara Elizabeth Auer

Varvara Elizabeth Auer, 74, of Lyndeborough, NH, passed away on September 3, 2024, with her family by her side. She was born on August 25, 1950, in Utrecht, Netherlands, a daughter to the late Hans Van Walsum and Wilhemina Elisabeth Schuurman Stekhoven.

Elizabeth was a class teacher and arts and woodworking teacher at the Pine Hill Waldorf School. She taught drawing and others arts in the Antioch University Waldorf Teacher Training MEd. Program for 25 years.

She will be forever remembered by her beloved husband of 50 years, Arthur Auer of Lyndeborough, NH, her two daughters, Sasha Auer and her husband Kevin Barnes of Northfield, MA and Sonya Auer and her husband Ron Bassar of Auburn, Alabama, and her dear friend Anniken Mitchell of Peterborough, NH, as well as dozens of friends and hundreds of students.

Family and friends are invited to gather on, Thursday, September 5, 2024, from 3:00PM to 8:00PM at Cournoyer Funeral Home, 33 River St., Jaffrey, NH, 03452. 

A second day of Visitation will also be held on Friday, September 6, 2024, from 3:00PM to 8:00PM at Cournoyer Funeral Home, 33 River St. Jaffrey, NH 03452.

Her private Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024 in Wilton, NH.
