William 'Bill' Adams

William Adams, 63, of Jaffrey, NH, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, in his home surrounded by his loving family.

‘Bill’ was born on August 5, 1960, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, a son of the late Carl and Maxine (Richardson) Adams, Sr..  He was a 1978 graduate of Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical High School in Fitchburg, Massachusetts where he studied culinary arts. 

Of all Bills accomplishments in his life, his family was what he was most proud of. He lived a simple life that was rich in love. He was a salt of the earth guy, who would give anything he had to someone in need. He cherished quality time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. Bill was a jack of all trades, but most recently was affectionately known as ‘Bill the picnic table guy’. He was a skilled carpenter who enjoyed woodworking as both a hobby and a career. He will be remembered for his kind heart, his nonjudgmental nature, his witty sense of humor, and his extra tight hugs. 

Bill attended the Jaffrey Bible Church, where he more recently was baptized and growing in his Christian faith, which was foundational to him. 

Bill is survived by his wife of more than 30 years, Rebecca (Joslin) Adams of Jaffrey, and by his three daughters, Brandy Woodard of Windham, NH, Erica Royal of Rindge, NH, and Keshia Des Jardin of Dover, NH, and by his son, Jon Adams, of Jaffrey. He will be missed tremendously by his 12 grandchildren, and 1 great grandson who lovingly called him "Popi". He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his two brothers, Carl Adams, Jr., and Richard Adams, and by his sister, Sheila Taylor.

Family and Friends are invited to Calling Hours which will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jaffrey Bible Church.

A graveside service will be held privately at the convenience of Bill’s family.
